NTPC in collaboration with IIT Jammu introduced Certificate Programme on Nuclear Energy Technologies from 17th April, 2023 to 22nd April, 2023 at PMI Noida.

Speaking at the inaugural session, Shri M K Srivastava, Executive Director (Engineering), NTPC shared the vision of the company and the importance of the nuclear portfolio in its capacity expansion plans ahead. He interacted with the participants and urged them to use these programmes with utmost sincerity and dedication. He mentioned that several new programmes have been conducted as part of capacity building initiatives and developing preparedness for NTPC for the challenges and opportunities in the sector.

Earlier Smt. Rachana Singh Bhal, Head (PMI) welcomed the dignitaries from NTPC and IIT Jammu for the inaugural session.

The program includes 24 sessions covering various aspects of nuclear energy technologies. This is a unique program in terms of its design and course content. It is being attended by 13 participants from nuclear and engineering departments in a physical mode and 3 participants through MS Teams in an online mode. This is a certification programme and a certificate will be awarded to participants based on a rigorous assessment.
